Suzanne Shelly Waltman, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology)

Dr. Waltman received her bachelor's degree from Whitman College in Walla Walla. She graduated from veterinary school at
the University of California-Davis in 2001. After a small animal internship at Colorado State University, she returned to UC
Davis to complete a residency in medical oncology. She became board-certified in medical oncology with the American
College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2005. She currently practices on a part-time basis at the Gilbert facility.

Kim Hillers, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology)

Dr. Hillers graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Studio Arts in 1997. She deferred veterinary school for one year to live in Seoul, Korea. She returned to the
University of Minnesota for veterinary school and received her DVM in 2002. She completed a one-year internship at a small
animal private practice in Mesa, AZ and a three-year combined residency in oncology and masters program at the Animal
Cancer Center of Colorado State University. Dr. Hillers became board-certified in medical oncology in 2006. She sees cases
in the Glendale and Scottsdale facilities.

Lynda Beaver, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology)

Dr. Lynda Beaver received her DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1989. After working as a general practitioner for
a number of years, she decided to specialize in the field of veterinary oncology, and spent 4 years as an oncology
technician at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She then completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at
the University of Illinois, and then an oncology internship at Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in
Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Beaver finished a three year medical oncology residency at Arizona Veterinary Specialists, LLC in June
2009 and became board-certified in 2010. She practices in the Gilbert location.

Jennifer J Arthur, DVM, DACVR (Radiation Oncology)
Dr. Jennifer Arthur received her Bachelor of Arts in English in 1995 and her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1999. In 2004,
she graduated with high honors from Ross University where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She spent
her clinical year at Texas A&M and also completed a short volunteer internship at Alaska Sea Life Center. She then headed
to Kansas State University for an internship in small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Arthur completed her residency in
radiation oncology at North Carolina State University and worked in a private specialty practice in Atlanta after obtaining
board certification in 2007. She joined the Gilbert team in May 2010.
