| Board-Certified Veterinary Oncologists: Casey Cadile, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology) Dr. Cadile completed her Master’s degree work in Clinical Oncology and obtained her DVM from the University of Illinois in 2001. She also completed a medical and radiation oncology internship at the University of Illinois. She completed a medical/surgical internship at Cornell University and then moved to San Diego to practice emergency veterinary medicine until she began her medical oncology residency with VMS and Michigan State University in 2004. Dr. Cadile became a diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the specialty of Oncology in 2007. Dr. Cadile is especially interested in canine hemangiosarcomas and anti-angiogenic therapy. Kelly Chaffin, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology and Internal Medicine) Dr. Chaffin graduated from the Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed an internship and a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Georgia. Kelly then trained in medical oncology at North Carolina State University. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the Specialities of Internal Medicine in 1998 and in Oncology in 2001. |
