staff at Advanced Veterinary Care Center in 2009. He is an active lecturer at local and regional SCVMA meetings and he
regularly attends national continuing education meetings.
Dr. Heller values the relationship that develops between the patient and owner, family veterinarian, and specialist. This
relationship serves to benefit the patient in many ways. Dr. Heller believes that providing patients with an excellent quality
of life is the most important aspect of his practice as a veterinary oncologist. Dr. Heller also enjoys the basic science
aspect of his practice, and he has extensive understanding of tumor biology, angiogenesis and immunology.
